I remember the first time I sat down and listened to the first Allman Brothers Band album at my friend Brian's house when I was in high school, we had been into British blues stuff and the Chicago old/new revival but that album made a huge dent.
Never got to see them. My fucking loss.
This was the original band at the Fillmore East, to my knowledge the only video of them in fine form, blowing the doors off. Old analog technology but still classic shit.
Greg and Duane are together again.
